Portsmouth NH Chowder Fest
This coming Saturday, May 29 is the Annual Prescott Park Chowder Festival in Portsmouth NH. Prescott Park Chowder Festival (click Events, then Chowder Fest).
If you're in the NH Seacoast Area you should check it out. Ten restaurants bring at least 50 gallons each. For a small donation you can sample as many chowders as you like. The line starts forming around 10:45am, chowder is served starting at 11:30 until it runs out, usually around 1pm.

Pawtuckaway Lake Level at Season High
The recent rains have raised the level of the lake to a high for the season, and probably for the past few years. (Click the picture to enlarge.)
