Hiking in the Pawtuckaway Area
The Pawtuckaway areas offers dozens of trails for all levels of hikers.
You can have your pick of short, hour-long walks, all the way up to energetic hikes that will take all of a long day.
Whether you like walking along the scenic Lamprey River, or climbing the rock faces of Devil's Den, there's a Pawtuckaway hike for you.
Some popular destinations are the old fire-tower on the south Pawtuckaway Mountain, climbing or just walking the steep trails of Devil's Den, viewing the magnificant behemoth rocks of the nationally renowned Round Pond Boulder Fields. And many more...
Trails can be found by looking closely at the many "topo" maps available for sale at sporting goods stores. You can also obtain a map of State Park Trails at the Park information/registration building.
